The Morning Raga premiere, at Mumbai's Fun Republic, Andheri, was an informal, relaxed affair, more akin to an elitist dinner party. Minus the food, of course, but then, dahlings, who in the world actually eats at these shindigs? Just not photogenic, you see.
Shabana Azmi played the propah hostess, swishing in well before most of the photofriendly names swooped into the vicinity, and preened gladly for the cameras.
It was commendable to see the actress' commitment to her film, her smile flashing brighter as the night wore on and she welcomed stars.
If you had a bite of cheese every time Shabana repeated her delighted 'lovely to see you', by the end of the evening you'd be Garfield.
