How did it feel to see yourself as a sculpture?
Never thought I'd really walk around myself (giggles). It felt as exhilarating as seeing myself for the first time on screen in Iruvar. Never did I dream I'd be up there in the museum. Just goes to show you never know where life takes you. They told me I was the second Indian woman after Mrs Indira Gandhi to be waxed. I thought being the second Bollywood personality after Amitji was honour enough. He's an absolute icon.
It's quite an honour for all Indians.
God has been really kind to me. Otherwise, how can I explain the fact that I've survived all the attempts to pull me down? The more they try to harm me, the more protected I feel by some invisible hands. The kind of responses I get from my fans and wellwishers is enough to keep me reassured. The negativity is so transparent that everyone can see where it's coming from. Some people might have believed them if they didn't overdo it. Everyone knows they're only doing it to pull me down. Truth has a way of revealing itself.
