The multiplex played host to a gamut of famous faces from across Bollywood, each congratulating Chadha warmly before getting their popcorn and settling in for the ride.
Just when it seemed the brigade of big stars had trooped into the theatre and the film was about to start, crowds screamingly announced the presence of Film Royalty: Shah Rukh Khan, with wife Gauri, sauntered in with tinted glasses.
Khan's every bodyguard-enclosed step was accompanied by hysteria and cheers as he moved inside to greet an exultant Chadha.

The star, reportedly having turned down a role in the film, laughed constantly with Chadha, the two seeming to share several inside jokes. Could there be a celluloid alliance in the not-so distant future: Khans And Sensibility, perhaps?
