Rani is my favourite! I have done hundreds of assignments with her, even before Ghulam, when she was not a star.

Even when she became a star, she would visit me and attend my phone calls. She would sit at my reception table and take the tips about who the best makeup man or designer was, how should she get a particular role etc.

She has a quick grasping power. She understands her minus points and knows how to cover them up. For example, she knows she does not have a great body but she can carry off a mini skirt well on screen. Like Madhuri, I like Rani's face better than her body.

She loves makeup and experiments all the time. She is not comfortable posing for the camera.

I like this shot where she is looking so innocent, though there is mischief in her eyes. Her hair is untidy because had just pulled on her pullover. This was a very candid shot, shot two years ago. I love her ruffled look.
