I met John before he joined films, when he was still a model. I like John's carefree and candid ways. He knows his body well, and knows what suits him.

In this shot, he's wearing pajamas. It was a morning shoot at Bandra Reclamation (northwest Mumbai), years ago.

I wanted a shot where he is in pajamas, holding his shirt and going for a morning walk. I wanted him to carry the morning freshness.

He was surprised I could capture all six abs, which were looking stunning. Even when I displayed that picture on my studio, everyone from Akshay to Rekha asked me how I achieved it.

That day, the morning light was reflecting directly on his abs. Even if you workout, sometimes you cannot get all six. I created the backdrop of the Mumbai city line. It looks lit up, not like a morning shot but like twilight.
