Richard Gere
This was the luckiest assignment because I have had no interaction with any Hollywood actor before this.
Shekhar Kapur helped me get this project. He showed pictures of many photographers to Gere and asked him to select which photographer he would like to work with. Gere pointed out to one of my pictures and Shekhar approached me.
But Shekhar did not tell me it was for Gere till the last minute. The moment he told me, it was like a dream come true for me.
Gere is truly a star because he is so humble and beautiful human being. He introduced himself to me in a lift. He asked whether we should have dinner first and then shoot. I opted for the latter.
I told him I was thrilled to do his pictures and he just laughed.
He left everything to me, and asked me where to stand or sit like a student.
