When reminded that for her earlier film, Ajnabee, also directed by Abbas-Mastan, her co-star Bipasha won more accolades and awards for a negative role and she was left out doing a positive role, Kareena was quick to point out: "What are awards? I have got four awards at home. My mother shouts at me that one more servant has to be engaged just to clean them! The servants get up at 8 am and clean them! In the media, the awards are reported for two days and then everybody forgets them. And, let me tell you, even Raj Kapoor got the Padma Bhushan after the age of 65! The only thing that people should bother about is confidence in oneself!"
Justifying her stance, she further pointed out, "I did a negative role in Fida but I didn't get the limelight in that film. I don't think in those terms. I am sure when people come out of theatres after watching Aitraaz, they will say Kareena has done a good role."
"I never get into these things: who has a big role and who has a small role. I did the tiniest role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and people still associate me with that film."
