Speaking about her great grandfather Prithivraj Kapoor, Kareena says, "I have always had the blessings of my great grandfather Prithvirajji and my grandfather Raj Kapoor."

"I have had so many flops, but I am still doing well as an actress. I think I've survived on my talent and my faith. I must also say that my fans have definitely blessed me. My career will move five steps forward with Aitraaz and I guarantee that!"

Does she feel left out as most of Aitraaz's pre-release publicity revolves around Akshay and Priyanka? Kareena says, "The film is about Priyanka's character. She has the pivotal character in the film. She has a strong role, and it is out-and-out negative. My role is very positive. I did this role because when a woman fights for his man, it is a big thing in India. I have done Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, where people have seen me wearing a £800 skirt! With this film I want to reach the interiors -- UP and MP -- of our country!"
