It marks the comeback of one of Bollywood's best loved heroines, Sridevi, on Indian television. She will appear in Sahara Television's Malini Iyer, as a South Indian housewife in a Punjabi family.

The show, originally called Hamari Bahu Malini Iyer, is directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Boney Kapoor.

It will be aired every Monday and Tuesday at 2100 hours on Sahara Television.
