Meenaxi is about a writer [Raghuvir Yadav] who is suffering from writer's block. He quite famous and hasn't been able to write for a couple of years. He meets this girl [Tabu] who becomes his inspiration.

In between, is a third character: me. I am placed in the film very interestingly. The story takes me through three cities and I get a chance to play different characters in different cities.

In Jaisalmer, I look very thin and my clothes make me look thinner. My hair is styled in a funny way. There is awkwardness in this boy and in his relationship with

Tabu. At the same time, I am a thinker, a deep person. But I am still discovering this. The beard also is newly grown. The look is very young, growing into a man. I wear long sherwanis.

But in Prague, there is a change in the relationship. I become very classy and wear nice jackets. In Hyderabad, I play a rough-looking guy because he is a motor mechanic and stays alone. So he has long hair and a beard. He ties his shirt around his waist. He has grease on his hands, gets into fights and is very dirty.

I have tried to bring in a part of myself in my character. There have been times when I felt awkward, tough or confident in my life. So I tried to translate that on screen. I could understand what the character went through.
