Saathiya

Full marks to Shaad Ali for very first directorial film.

Saathiya had excellent performances but it was the director’s film all the way. The entire film was shot in flashback, with the events of just one day intervening at regular intervals.

The film was very realistic -- people could actually identify with the story, the dialogues and characters.

Rahman’s music was excellent once again, and the song picturisations did them full justice.
