Musafir excited me. That's why I took it up. Besides, I love the music. I heard it the day I signed the film. I think movies must have a good story and great music.

I had seen Kaante and knew the way Sanjay Gupta makes his films. I knew Musafir would have an element of style.

Usually, I go by gut instinct. I have said no to a lot of films because at the end of the day, I need to be happy and proud of what I do. It's really not about the banner and money. It's about how good you feel about it.

I am very choosy when it comes to films. One has to be careful. The audiences cannot be fooled anymore. They want freshness -- the actors cannot look the same in every film. I've just completed National Award winning director Buddhadeb Dasgupta's Kalpurush.
