I live alone in Mumbai. I don't have a 'godfather' or a single relation here. I think once you grow up on your own, you mature with age and experience.

I never call my parents for advice, even though I am only 23. I take my own decisions. My father is in the chemical business and my mother is an interior designer. My sister is a student and a trained dancer.

When I came to Mumbai, I stayed with a friend for eight days. Once I got my house, I shifted. Now I've bought the rented house where I used to stay.

I think it's difficult to come to Mumbai and settle down as an actress. If you are a nobody, they will give you Rs 5,000 and brush you off. It can be quite dangerous as well.

But I had a crown to my name and could demand a fee. Gladrags really helped me get established.

Photographer Rakesh Shreshtra saw my pictures and called Ram Gopal Varma. We hit it off in our first meeting and the very next day we started shooting for Khullam khulla.

I am ready to do small roles in films, like Shilpa Shetty did in Garv. Even if there are two heroines, I don't mind doing the film because I am just starting my career.

Musafir is a male dominated film. Sameera has three songs and I have two. I'm sure I will be noticed.
