The Lakme India Fashion Week held in New Delhi this year is, among other things, a scouting place for new faces for Bollywood.

Models like Jessae Randhawa have already signed films like Nabh Kumar Raju's Chot and Aparna Sen's Gulel. Model-turned-actresses like Katrina Kaif, Gul Panag and Yana Gupta have also been associated with the Lakme India Fashion Week.

If models try to cross over into films, so do fashion designers. The hot and happening Sabyasachi Mukherjee is now designing outfits for Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black.

The LIFW is held between April 26 to May 3 this year.
