I am very choosy about my roles. I started shooting for most of my films last year. This year, some of them will make it to the marquee.
Some of my forthcoming films are E Niwas's Bardaasht, which will release a week after Masti, Madhur Bhandarkar's Aan, Boney Kapoor's No Entry, Vikram Bhatt's Elaan and Jurm, Satish Kaushik's Phir Hera Pheri and a Rajkumar Santoshi film.
In Bardaasht, I play a totally different role from Masti. It is a drama as well as a thriller. I play a middle-class girl, who is a lawyer. She is Bobby Deol's fiancée. She is the saner, more stable one of the two. She tries to hold the relationship together as well as help him out in a court case. The role is

subtle, not melodramatic. E Niwas always makes sure you give a subtle performance and play it down.
In Phir Hera Pheri, I am not replacing any actress from the original film. The sequel, directed by Satish Kaushik, will retain the three male characters (Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal) but everything else will be different. There are rumours that No Entry is similar to Masti, but the two films are very different. Apart from the fact that both films are about three married couples, the storylines, humour and characters are different.
