rediff.com: US must not stop H-1B visas: Sunil Mittal

Sunil Mittal, Bharti Airtel chairman, said that the United States needs to stimulate its economy further so as to tide over the economic crisis. He said that the upcoming G-20 Summit should hold a few answers to how long could the crisis last.

He also said that the US, which believes in globalisation and free markets, should not stop the H-1B visa programme.

He was speaking on the sidelines of the conference on Global Economic Recovery: The Need for Greater India-US Partnership at the Asia Society in New York on Tuesday.
