According to a recent report, India Inc's hiring plans saw a marginal increase in January, with the IT, BPO, telecom, banking, education and hospitality sectors showing a marked improvement. Niche industries including legal, government and defence continued to see an increase in jobs.
A location-wise analysis reveals an improved situation in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune.
