Jumbo owners hit by economic crisis

Global economic crisis has stated taking a toll on India's elephant owners as well as they await the arrival of tourists in Jaipur with hopes of making some money to tide over their financial woes.

Amer Fort, which used to be abuzz with tourists from all over the world, is now witnessing a slowdown in the arrival of foreigners to enjoy the majestic elephant rides. As a result elephant owners are finding it difficult in managing their stables.
