Asian markets in red

November 18, 2008

Asian markets are in red once again this morning following weak cues from the US markets.

The Hang Seng has plunged 368 points to 13,162. The Nikkei has slipped 82 points to 8,440.

The Taiwan Weighted index has dropped 115 points to 4,324. The Straits Times index has declined 23 points to 1,727, and the Seoul Composite index has shed 27 points at 1,051.

The Shanghai Composite index is down 50 points at 1,980.
