The company was assured that there will be no strikes in the state to derail the project.

The Nano, thus found a home in Gujarat but with inordinate delays and several controversies, Tata Motors has an uphill task to launch the Tata Nano. To add to its woes comes a new controversy....

The concessions offered by the Narendra Modi government has brought the Nano issue to the limelight again.
