The world's cheapest car, the Rs 100,000 Tata Nano is yet to hit the roads but it's always in the headlines.

Tata Motors shifted its Nano base to Gujarat after months of protests forced it out of Singur.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi stole the show when he welcomed the Tatas with 1100 acres of land at Sanand near Ahmedabad, when many other states were vying for the Nano project.
