Will 'President Barack Obama' bring good news for India?
I see a new ray of hope in Obama being the US President-elect.
For, here is a man who has always stressed on improving the standard of healthcare. That means upgradation of the existing system, accumulation of data, and restructuring technical details.
To be precise, the entire procedure means more healthcare outsourcing work would come to the Indian shores.
There is a simple logic. On attaining office, Obama's priority would be to curtail costs, which would include cutting wage expenditure.
He would thereby have no option but to outsource healthcare support activities to countries where labour comes cheaper.
I, therefore, foresee some big and medium IT companies of India winning a chunk of healthcare outsourcing jobs from the US in recent future.
