In 1995 when Ranjini Manian decided to launch Global Adjustments to offer relocation, realty and cross-cultural training services to the expatriates in Chennai, little did she realise that global response to her endeavour would be so overwhelming.
With offices in major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, and Kolkata, Global Adjustments today is a one-stop destination for help for most expatriates in India.
Recognition has come from across the Atlantic too, when the Harvard University invited her to represent India on its Women's Leadership Board.
As the first Indian to be thus honoured, Manian added yet another feather to her cap.
In this interview, with Contributing Editor Shobha Warrier, Ranjini Manian, chief executive officer of Global Adjustments, speaks about the experience of being on the board, her future plans in the role as the only representative from India, and interacting with people like Cherie Blair (wife of former British prime minister Tony Blair).
