Mysore-based N R Group's Cycle brand is synonymous with incense sticks in India. The group has mastered the art of fragrance creation. It was only natural for the brand to diversify into another fragrance-rich zone -- perfumes and deodorants.
The Rs 325 crore (Rs 3.25 billion) group established Ripple Fragrances Pvt Ltd in 2005 as a perfume and deodorant making company. It employs 100 workers.
Its personal care collection includes the DNA brand of deodorants and perfumes, and the IRIS range has air care products. It has recently forayed into car freshener segment as well.
The group also owns Nesso, a company specialising in natural materials made from herbal and floral extracts to supply to global perfumery houses.
