For aviation legend Burt Rutan, it was another feather to his illustrious cap. And for flamboyant businessman Sir Richard Branson, it was a dream come true.
On July 28, Branson and Rutan, unveiled WhiteKnightTwo, to the media, in Mojave Desert, California, USA.
Virgin Founder, Branson and SpaceShipOne designer, Rutan, unveiled the WK2 carrier aircraft that will ferry SpaceShipTwo and thousands of private astronauts, science packages and payload on the first stage of the Virgin Galactic sub-orbital space experience.
