While the top ten expensive cities in terms of office rentals remain the same, there is a change in the rankings.
From the 5th position, the financial capital of India, Mumbai has risen as the world's second most expensive place in terms of office rentals.
Rentals at Mumbai's Nariman Point, zoomed to $189.51, an increase of 55 per cent. With a population of 13 million, Mumbai is the largest metro in India and the most populous city in the world.
Mumbai houses major financial institutions, such as the Reserve Bank of India, Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange and is headquarter to many Indian and multinational companies.
