Rich dividends with sunflower cultivation

Sunflower cultivation replacing paddy farming has enriched poor farmers in India's eastern Orissa.

Their march to prosperity began in 1991 when many farmers in districts of Boudh, Kalahandi and other places were motivated to take up sunflower cultivation which over a period of time turned out to be an extremely lucrative vocation for them.
