As the world celebrates the Earth Day today, corporate India is doing its bit to conserve the environment. Under one such initiative, firms are shifting towards environment-friendly and energy saving techniques for constructing commercial buildings.
"At present around 25-30 million sq ft of green space is available in commercial buildings in India and with the recent inclination towards eco-friendly measures, a good 30-40 per cent growth in the need for such units is expected," Jagdeep Singh, global sales head, Desiccant Rotors International (DRI) said.
DRI is a global provider of components, products and systems for energy recovery, fresh air treatment, evaporative cooling and humidification.
