Shah Rukh Khan understands the business of cricket better than Vijay Mallya.
IPL has proved two things. The first is that it is possible to hype up a vacuum by using the media. The second is that no one knows show business like Shah Rukh Khan does. In this cluster of managers, he towers above them all.
Managers talk of unlocking/maximising value, line extension, leveraging brand strength, and other things that can be said in simpler words.
Shah Rukh does all that and still achieves -- pardon the jargon -- consumer connect.
