India and Brazil eye enhanced trade ties

Addressing a news conference in Sao Paulo in Brazil, Indian President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil said that India and Brazil were committed to greater economic cooperation.
Patil, India's first woman president is on a three-nation tour to Brazil, Chile and Mexico.
The two fast-growing economies have come closer in recent years and built a strong relationship based on common positions on key issues such as global trade talks and expansion of the U.N. Security Council.
