Viagra, the little pill that has helped millions gain healthy sexual lives has also proven to be a major boon for Pfizer Laboratories, which developed the drug. A real blockbuster of a drug, Viagra's annual sales exceed $5 billion.
Viagra was developed by scientists working at Pfizer by accident. In 1985, Pfizer scientists were working to develop a drug to treat heart failure and hypertension.
