Tata hikes car prices by up to Rs 11,000

Tata Motors [Get Quote] on Friday hiked the prices of its passenger vehicles between Rs 1,500-11,000 effective from January 15, citing increase in input costs.

"The hike in the prices will range from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000 on the lower side and Rs 11,000 on the upper side on various passenger vehicles effective from January 15," company officials said.

The hike in the prices is due to increase in input costs, he added.
