Neeta Lulla presents Chiconomic
Next >

In association with Adamo, the latest laptop to be launched by Dell Computers, designer Neeta Lulla put up a spectacular showing on the third day of the LFW.

Things started with a bang, as dancers enacted a scene from the beginning of time, signifying the shifting of the earth's tectonic plates and the flow of lava. Once that subsided, a gown complete with nymph-like wings floated down the ramp, with First Runner-up Miss India-World 2008 Parvathy Omanakuttan upholding a mirrored inverted 'N', Neeta's new logo.

The collection, titled Chiconomic, was aimed at the fashion and finance-conscious fashionista, which is only fitting in these tough economic times. And for the first time Neeta has branched into handbag, footwear and jewellery designing, teaming her own accessories with her creations on the ramp.
