The 'Y' silhouette

January 7, 2009
Datta is very confident of the silhouette that will define the coming months. "See, I think the Y-silhouette will make a statement in 2009 -- you know, voluminous at the top and tapering as you go lower. And in case you were wondering about the silhouette of 2008 -- the balloon cut -- it couldn't be more out! Says Bahl, "It's done and over with -- there comes a time when a certain style dies out and this one certainly has."
