All set for a romantic rendezvous on February 14? Are you stewing over the impression you'll make? Here's a few tips from fashion gurus to make sure your style speaks volumes about you!
Coordinating your colours
Opinions are divided as to what colours you should sport on Valentine's Day.
Says designer Vivek Kumar, "You can get into the spirit with bright hues -- pink and red, of course, are the colours of romance."
Aastha Bahl, who owns label Mistletoe, however, vehemently disagrees. "Valentine's Day is too overdone in India!" she exclaims. "You should steer clear of red -- it's everywhere you look on February 14. Shades of pink or green are preferable."
Ruchi Mehta, who runs the label Salt, is also of the same opinion. "It would be nice to do colours other than the traditional and overdone pinks and reds," she explains. "I'd say you should stick to a mauve or blue colour palette."
