Diet
September 2, 2008
Jess has always been committed to eating right and looking after her weight. She ballooned to a size 8 during her pregnancy, but is back to a size 4 by controlling what she eats. People magazine interviewed her personal fitness trainer, Ramona Braganza -- here's what she had to say about the actress' routine:
Jessica follows a low-fat, low-carb diet. As per Ramona's recommendation, she starts the day with carbs like oatmeal, turkey bacon and egg white. Since the actress is genetically prone to putting on weight (she claims her whole family is overweight), she avoids all bread, desserts, fast food and fried foods.
Snacking between meals is limited to fruit, almonds or cheese. Lunch is something light, like fish with a small salad and dinner a chicken breast with brown rice.
Jessica tries to substitute fattening foods with healthier alternatives. "I try to eat the healthiest version of something," she says. "I'll buy organic at Whole Foods or Bristol Farms."
