Her style: Western

October 3, 2008
For girls, printed tops with Indian motifs, khadi capris, short kurtas with printed or single-colour shrugs and strapped khadi dresses are very much the in-thing.

For those going for the Western look, low waist jeans and spaghetti tops, strappy tunics or tunics in halternecks are the favourites. Many are picking up jeans embroidered on the sides or patterned jeans folded upto capri length. Also, much in demand are the balloon tops -- loose with a balloon-like effect towards the top and tightened with a string at the bottom. They look great with jeans and leggings. Long skirts in pastel shades, made of silk, chiffon, crushed silk, and, of course in time-tested cotton, are selling briskly.
