Coinciding with a religious festival of Hindus at Pushkar in Rajasthan, the annual camel fair, one of the world's biggest fairs for camels and cattle lures people of all faiths presenting a perfect picture of communal harmony.
Each year during the full moon of the Hindu month of Kartik, devotees visit Pushkar for a holy dip in Pushkar lake while thousands of nomadic tribesmen and others from far and near gather on the sand dunes around for serious trading in camels and other animals.
