Piccadelhi is also a place where clientele is not limited to couples.
You see a healthy mix of families, business colleagues, couples and friends out for a fun evening. The children are kept entertained with a Charlie Chaplin running around them with a dwarf dressed as a clown.
For the others, there is a singer who sings popular numbers live on most evenings. He used to be given a prominent place on the stage but with their number of patrons increasing, he has unfortunately been moved to sing from inside the decorative bus.
The atmosphere is lively without being too loud.It is a spacious place yet cozy too. The service is also quite decent, a call away when you need them without being on your head all the time.
So we walked in on a Friday night, expecting it to be full but the gracious usher managed to find us a cozy corner for two. The menu was a delight in itself. I am a mean menu critic and have often walked out of restaurants with menus that fail to please. They have a range of cuisines including Indian (North and South Indian), Chinese and Italian. They also have an edge by having the license to serve liquor.
