On the road to Leh
Reader Arun Anand sent us pictures of his recent road trip in the Himalayas,
from Manali
in Himachal Pradesh to Leh (Ladakh) in Jammu & Kashmir, passing through
beautiful river valleys,
stark landscapes, and some of the highest passes in the region
including Taglang La,
which is the second highest motorable road in the world at 17,450 feet!
