Hair styling and strengthening tips from an expert

July 15, 2008
Celebrity hairstylist and spokesperson for haircare giant ALFAPARF Milano Kenneth Frost held a hairstyling workshop and fashion show in Mumbai on July 7. At the age of 29, he has already established an international reputation, travelling to countries across the world and working for some of the biggest celebrities. Here, in an interview with Rediff.com's Patcy N, Kenneth discusses his career and how to keep your mane at its best.

Tell us a little bit about your background. How did you get into this profession?

I've been a hairstylist for 16 years now. I am of Australian origin and I started off doing an apprenticeship in Australia itself. I did some platform work and then I moved to China to teach hair-dressing to students. Recently I joined ALFAPARF Milano's board as an educationist. Now I am based in Shanghai and work from there. I work and travel frequently for ALFAPARF.

What was today's event here in Mumbai all about?

We were launching ALFAPARF products. There are a few names already in the market, but our products are high-end and not mainstream -- they give a feel of luxury. We also use a lot of natural ingredients like linseed oil and sunflower oil to give more shine to the hair.
