The more you use, the older you look

July 1, 2008
It's true. You'll find women who have trouble aging gracefully plastering every wrinkle with foundation and bronzer, while fresh-faced youngsters prefer to keep it minimal. Make-up isn't an armour which can hide your age. Use a little to highlight your best features, don't use up whole tubes trying to disguise your worst -- that will only draw attention to those areas.

Too much is a turn-off

Ladies, take note -- guys don't like caked-up women. It's only natural to want to know how a person really looks, without the overdone lashes, eye shadow, fake tan and what-have-you. If he shows up when you've taken all the goop off, he may either head for the hills at the frightful sight or fail to recognise you entirely.
