Nainital: The ever-refreshing getaway

Every time we thought of going out for an excursion, the first place Jyoti suggested was Nainital in Uttarakhand.

I knew very little about the place, had heard of it in the movies. Jyoti seemed to be confident about it. Why wouldn't she be? It was recommended by her mother.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

Finally, one Friday evening we headed to Nainital. We boarded the bus at Anand Nagar bus depot in Delhi.

It was an overnight journey and we reached Nainital next morning. After checking in at our hotel, we relaxed for a while before going on a lake tour.
