LFW ends in a tropical extravaganza

In what was probably the most dramatic grand finale yet, Wendell Rodricks closed out Lakme Fashion Week with unique, elegant finesse.

In his tribute to the urban woman with an island spirit, Wendell showcased a whopping 36 creations in flowing whites, sea-green and aqua, capturing the spirit of the ocean to perfection.

With the backdrop of silver sands and palm trees, the lights went out to a flower wreathed swing descending from the roof. Model Jesse Randhawa, clad in a white satin dress draped in 80 metres of georgette ribbons alit and kicked off the show in dramatic flourish.
