Designer duo Dev and Nil displayed their autumn/ winter collection on Day Four of the Lakme Fashion Week. The line is inspired by how little fragments of vision come together to create a single large picture, hence the name 'Pixel Dreams'. The focus was on extended shoulders, box sleeves and voluminous hemlines, with lots of pleating thrown in. Check it out!
The first creation to grace the catwalk was this steely grey starched dress; the model seemed to step out straight from an audio-visual presentation that preceded the show. In the presentation, the audience got to see shots of her at various places -- in a run-down -- on the main road. With the last shot of her entering what seemed to be a doorway, she stepped out of the wings. The audience applauded in appreciation of the unusual concept.
