Goa: A food lover's paradise

We decided to head to Goa through a shorter route. The speedometer clocks just 154 km if you enter Goa from Belgaum.

Travelling on long winding ghat roads, we crossed the Karnataka border and reached the humid, sweltering city of Mapusa.

Our visit to Goa began as a gastric adventure and continued that way for all the three days that we were there! Meal No 1 was at a small, dim, nondescript place called Moonlight.

Airfare for Rs 100 and less!

We had Tandoori Prawns, a simple fish fry and yummy fish curry and rice -- a typical Goan meal. The rice induced heady slumber.

When we reached our room, I was out like a light in 50 seconds flat.
