Rediff reader Dilip Thakkar sent us pictures of his vacation to Uttarakhand.
"The river rafting experience at Shivpuri, 65 km from Haridwar, was
an experience of a lifetime," Dilip wrote.

"We rafted from Marine Drive to Shivpuri, about 10 to 12 km. This was
for beginners and we had to pay Rs 400 per head."
