Jungle tales

For my wife and I travel is as necessary as food is for survival.

We yearn for the perfect opportunity to break away from monotonous urban life and head for serenity -- be it the hills or the sands.

Airfare for Rs 100 and less!

This vacation we took a different route to rejuvenation -- the jungles. As preposterous as it may sound, our planning went ahead even as we wondered if the jungles could provide us the much-needed rest that was the objective of our holiday.

We zeroed in on the Dooars. These jungles in north Bengal became our obvious first choice because of their close proximity to Kolkata.
