This model stays slim with yoga

September 1, 2006
Name: Ritu Singh, sporting a Rina Dhaka creation.

Hometown: Born and brought up in Delhi.

Height: 5 feet 8 inches

Signature style: I like Namrata Joshipura's clothes. They are feminine and contemporary, and that's my style. I don't care too much about what's fashion, I like to create my own style. Whatever I wear must be comfortable, that's all.

Hot pick: I have a polka dotted dress that gives the wearer a young, elegant look. Slacks are very in too.

Must-have accessory: A chunky dull gold anklet on my left ankle. I also love chunky bangles and neckpieces.

Fitness regime: I was a yoga champ in school. I have lots of certificates at the inter-school and national level and I practice it regularly. I love eating and think it's good to eat whatever you like and then work out, instead of dieting and harming yourself.

Style mantras: Irrespective of what you wear, you must have the confidence to carry it off. If you have to attend a party and want to look really good, do a little homework. Try on a dress and see how it looks beforehand. Try and understand where you need to improve yourself. If you feel fat, work out. Compliment yourself by dressing well.

Part-time profession: I used to be an interior designer before I became a model. I still take up projects when I am not too busy.

Status: Single. I just broke up with my boyfriend.

The perfect man: Someone who respects me and gives me freedom. Also a loving, caring sort.
