Acquin met Tinna at a party over a year ago. "I am truly, deeply, madly in love," he says, sounding refreshingly sweet but not syrupy. The 6-feet 4 inches tall Anglo-Indian is originally from Bangalore and now lives in Mumbai. He has lots on his plate, career-wise, and has been in the industry for four years. So, how does he manage to balance it with a love life?

"We hardly get time together," he says, "as we have different working schedules. But, sometimes, we also get to work together, like at Fashion Week or a show somewhere together." The two are always in touch by phone, of course. Acquin's advice to those with hectic careers is, "You have to make an effort to make your relationship work. And you have to make some compromises."

He also says that one should try and maintain a balance between hanging out with friends and partners. "It's a glamorous world and we meet beautiful people all the time. It's easy to get attracted to people, but that doesn't happen to me anymore (smiles). It's important to keep your head on your shoulders."
